What can be more fun to a boy than exploring new things in the great outdoors? The Pennsylvania Dutch Council is pleased to offer a variety of summer programs at Camp Mack in 2010 that are specifically designed to provide age-appropriate activities for Cub Scouts. Our staff is comprised of experienced, trained leaders and volunteers from each district dedicated to providing an exciting, fun-filled camping experience for Cubs of all ages!
Cub Scout Day Camp (1st & 2nd grade Tiger Cubs & new Wolf Cubs)
Activities are geared to the interest and skill level of boys in Tiger and Wolf dens. Week-long Day Camp provides structured, well-supervised outdoor learning experiences that are challenging and fun. Boys can make new friends while building self-confidence and self-reliance. Activities include Archery, BB Guns, Nature hikes, Games, Crafts, Swimming and more!
Cub Scout Resident Camp (2nd & 3rd grade Wolf & Bear Cubs)
This is an action-packed, 2 night/3 day adventure for those who are ready for the thrill of overnight camping. The boys will have a full schedule of activities including Archery, BB Guns, Nature studies, Games, Crafts, Swimming & Boating, and evening Campfires! Five sessions are scheduled during mid-June through mid-July for your scheduling convenience. This is a great opportunity for one-on-one parent & son bonding, so plan to attend Cub Resident Camp with your scout!
Webelos Resident Camp (4th & 5th grade Webelos)
This 5 night/6 day camp prepares 1st and 2nd year Webelos for Boy Scouting through the activities mentioned for Cub Scout Resident Camp AND opportunities for Outpost Training, Service Projects, Conservation Projects and more! Two sessions are scheduled during the month of July. Come along with your son for the week, or share time between parents. Don’t miss your Cub’s last camping experience before Boy Scouts!
Cub Scout Family Camp (Cubs of all ages bring their whole family!)
Family Camp is a great opportunity for playing and relaxing the weekend away in a beautiful outdoor setting. Program activities and free time are available, including a great campfire Saturday evening with entertainment provided by the staff!
